Slide, Sip, Strike in Mason

Pins Mechanical Co. has officially rolled into Mason, Ohio, bringing its playful blend of duckpin bowling, arcade nostalgia, and craft cocktails to The District at Deerfield. As the seventh Ohio location and second in Greater Cincinnati, the venue is ready to entertain locals and visitors alike with a unique mix of retro fun and modern hospitality.

A New Kind of Playground

Step inside and you will find 16 lanes of duckpin bowling, arcade cabinets filled with classics like Pac-Man and Donkey Kong, and rows of glowing pinball machines. True to the brand’s signature flair, Mason’s new Pins also features a two-story indoor slide that is as much a photo-op as it is a thrill. The outdoor space continues the fun with patio pong, Hookie, giant Jenga, and fire pits designed for casual hangouts well into the evening.

Inside, two expansive bars fuel the social scene with craft cocktails, local beers, mocktails, and THC beverages. The vibe is industrial chic with warm lighting, exposed finishes, and colorful game stations that create an atmosphere that is playful without being childish. During the day the space welcomes families. At night it transforms into a 21+ playground that stays open late, often past midnight on weekends.

For Visitors Traveling In

Travelers from outside Mason will find the location convenient and welcoming. The District at Deerfield sits just off I-71, about 25 minutes from downtown Cincinnati and within easy reach of Dayton or Columbus. Free parking and open-air gathering spaces make it a relaxed alternative to the downtown Over-the-Rhine location. Guests arriving with families can plan a dual outing: Pins during the day, followed by a trip to Kings Island amusement park or the Great Wolf Lodge waterpark, both just a short drive away. Those extending their stay can venture into downtown Cincinnati for pro sports, historic markets, and a thriving brewery scene.

Food is not served at Pins, but visitors can bring their own meals or order delivery from nearby restaurants. Options include Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, Rusty Bucket Tavern, Bravo Italian Kitchen, or the burger and brew menu at Fifty West Brewing Co., which has a location inside the same development.

Pins Mechanical Co. is more than a bar. It is an experience. The concept strikes the balance between nostalgia and novelty, combining childhood favorites like arcade games with adult indulgences like craft cocktails. It is a venue where you can actively play instead of just sitting at a table, where you can host a corporate event or laugh through a date night, and where even a quick visit feels like a mini getaway.

The Mason location strengthens The District at Deerfield as one of the area’s rising entertainment destinations. With flexible event spaces, late-night hours, and a social, welcoming vibe, it is a spot that promises to draw not only locals but also visitors from across the region.
