2 Million Reasons to Celebrate

The holidays are here, and with them comes the glow of Cincinnati’s Nights of Lights, a cherished tradition that brings sparkle and joy to the season. Imagine over 2 million lights illuminating larger-than-life Christmas trees, glowing snowflakes, and tunnels of twinkling brilliance—all perfectly synchronized to festive music. It’s the ultimate drive-thru holiday experience, and it’s happening nightly from November 23, 2024, to January 5, 2025, at the Clermont County Fairgrounds in Owensville, Ohio.

This isn’t your average holiday light display. Cincinnati’s Nights of Lights immerses you in a dazzling wonderland, where every flicker and sparkle is choreographed to classic and contemporary holiday tunes. The show covers nearly 2 miles, and at a leisurely 5 MPH, you’ll spend around 30 minutes soaking in the magic from the comfort of your vehicle.

The best part? This event is accessible to everyone. Families, couples, groups of friends, and even furry companions (yes, it’s pet-friendly!) are welcome to experience the joy. In fact, Chewy.com named it one of the "Best Dog-Friendly Holiday Light Shows Across the U.S."

If you’ve been a fan in past years, you’ll know that Cincinnati’s Nights of Lights previously called Coney Island home. This year, the event has moved to the Clermont County Fairgrounds, offering a fresh layout while keeping the heart and soul of the show intact.

The new location is easy to access:

  • Address: OH 132 Owensville, OH 45160

  • Directions: Signage will guide you as you approach, and maps from Google or Apple will ensure a smooth trip.

As you drive into the Clermont County Fairgrounds, you’ll be greeted by cheerful event staff who will direct you through the entrance gates. Once inside, tune your car radio to 97.5 FM to enjoy the custom holiday soundtrack that makes the lights truly come alive.

Important Notes:

  • Due to tight turns and tunnels, certain vehicles like limos, RVs, and oversized vans aren’t permitted. If you’re unsure whether your vehicle qualifies, reach out to the team at info@queencitylightshow.com before purchasing tickets.

  • Restrooms are available before you start the show and again at the end. Once you’re on the path, there are no stops, so plan accordingly!

While food isn’t sold on-site, many families bring snacks or even pick up a pizza from Grammas Pizza in Owensville to enjoy as they drive through. There’s something extra cozy about sipping hot chocolate while gazing at the lights—so don’t forget your thermos!

Pro Tips:

  1. Dress warmly, even in the car—you may want to roll the windows down for an unobstructed view.

  2. Make it a family affair, complete with holiday music singalongs.

  3. Capture the memories! Take photos or videos, and don’t forget to tag @cincinnatisnightsoflights on Instagram or TikTok.

Cincinnati’s Nights of Lights isn’t just about creating magical moments—it’s about giving back. Proceeds from ticket sales support local charities like Girls on the Run Greater Cincinnati and Accounting for Kids, Inc., organizations that empower youth through confidence-building programs and financial literacy education.

And if you purchase discounted tickets at Graeter’s, 100% of the proceeds benefit the Ruth Lyons Fund, which provides assistance to hospitalized children and their families. By visiting this event, you’re making a direct impact in your community.

Cincinnati’s Nights of Lights is more than just a holiday event; it’s an experience that brings people together to celebrate the season’s magic. Whether you’re starting a new tradition or continuing an old one, this spectacular display is a must-see.

So gather your loved ones, grab your tickets, and get ready to bask in the glow of the holidays. Cincinnati’s Nights of Lights is waiting to make your season merry and bright!
