14K/7K Brewery Run Wraps Up 2024 TQL Beer Series in Cincinnati 

Cincinnati (September 21, 2024) – Nearly 2,500 runners and walkers celebrated Oktoberfest weekend in Cincinnati with the annual 14K and 7K Brewery Run. The Brewery Run is the final event in the year-long TQL Beer Series for Pig Works, the umbrella organization for the Flying Pig Marathon and events throughout the season.

Along with the Bock Beer 5K at The Banks and the Fifty West Mile, the 14K/7K Brewery Run celebrates Cincinnati’s long brewing history. A total of 1,350 finished the 14K brewery run, and 1,082 completed the 7K.

In the 14K, 23-year-old Tyler Wirth of Newport, Kentucky, finished first in the men’s division with a time of 45:14. Second was 28-year-old Jersson Pachar of Cincinnati in 46:36 and third was 32-year-old Brett Morley of Taylors, South Carolina, in 47:35.

In the women’s division, 37-year-old Daniella Townsend of Cincinnati won in 55:07. Second was 20-year-old Lexi Baker from Lexington, KY., in 55:28 and third was 40-year-old Natalie Leverone of Covington in 55:33.

In the 7K, 40-year-old Pat Witte of Cincinnati won in a time of 24:49. Second was 28-year-old Joseph Stimler of Cincinnati in 25:42 and third was 43-year-old Jeremy Jones of Alexandria, KY, in 27:39. In the women’s division, 24-year-old Christi-Anne Beatty of Cincinnati was first across the line in 26:55. Second was 33-year-old Megan Francus of Cincinnati in 26:57 and third was 41-year-old Cheryl Bayart of Cincinnati in 28:45.             

Also honored were the 17 TQL Beer Series Brewmeisters, who have participated in every event throughout all 12 years of the Beer Series.
